TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for Files for Unix/Win 7.0.0 Hotfix 8 is released for all supported platforms. This hotfix is cumulative of prior hot fixes for this version. Listed below is a summary of updates included in Hotfix 8. Please refer to the attached Readme for additional details on these and other cumulative fixes included in this Hotfix.

Closed Issues in 7.0.0_HF-008 (This Release)

AFIL-2975
After restarting TIBCO Hawk, the uptime value available in TIBCO Adminstrator for
the File Adapter instance would be incorrect.

This issue is fixed.

Note:
The Hawk method getStatus() now returns the upTime value in milliseconds
as a long data type which is expected by TIBCO Administrator. The upTime was
previously maintained in seconds using the int data type.

AFIL-2974
Logs are added around copy, move, delete operation while parsing an input file.
TRA property 'adfiles.trace.devdebug' should be set to ON.

AFIL-2972
For the positional schema, if the input line has records less than total number 
of attributes in the schema, parsing error was observed after applying Hotfix 7 
whereas file parsed successfully in Hotfix 6.

This issue is fixed.

AFIL-2945
For the positional schema, if the input line does not contain value only for the 
last attribute and has the value for second last attribute whose length is smaller 
than its length defined in the schema, then File Adapter crashes with the error 
'String index out of range'.

This issue is fixed.

AFIL-2936
When multiple nodes in file schema have same constant, inconsistent behavior is 
observed between FA 7.0 publication service and  FA 6.2.x

This issue is fixed. To achieve same behavior in FA 7.0, set TRA property 
"adfiles.pub.parseFA6" to ON.

AFIL-2933
FA 7.0 publication service, when configured with "End of Line" as "System", is unable 
to find end of line when there is a '\r' character present in the input file.

This issue is fixed.
