======================================================================
Closed Issues in 7.1.0_HF-005 (This Release)
ASAP-4079
When adapter received RFC or BAPI call from SAP system, no error message was generated if an out-of-memory exception occurred during processing.
Note:
Prior to HF5, if out-of-memory exception was raised then warning message AER3-970276 was generated. By applying HF5, an error message AER3-970041 is generated in addition to warning message AER3-970276.
The error message AER3-970041 is generated in the case where the RFC or BAPI call has been sucessfully received by the adapter from the SAP JCo libraries. If an exception is raised internally in the SAP JCo libraries then error message AER4-970041 is not generated. In the case of out-of-memory errors generated by the SAP JCo libraries, the detection of this scenario is done by capturing exceptions in SAP system.
ASAP-4087
Message AER3-000129 in the adapter log was generated as type error.
ASAP-4096
When adapter receives RFC or BAPI call from SAP system, if the schema contained references to fixed STRING data type and the corresponding fields were not initialized with a value then NPE was generated by the adapter.
ASAP-4100
When creating a new Publication or Subscription adapter service for an Extended IDoc in a SAP ECC system with Enhancement Package 8 installed, a NPE was generated by the SAP Adapter palette in TIBCO Designer.
ASAP-4109
The SAP Adapter did not support SAP JCo libraries 3.0.15 and higher.
ASAP-4114
When adapter requests RFC or BAPI call to SAP system, if the schema contained references to fixed STRING data type and the corresponding fields were not initialized with a value then NPE was generated by the adapter.
ASAP-4121
The SAP Adapter did not provide an error message if an out-of-memory exception was raised during the send of reply following RFC or BAPI call to SAP system.
Note:
If an out-of-memory exception is rasised during the send of the reply then error message AER3-970042 is generated. If an error occurs during the reply then the same error message cannot be returned back as an exception to the caller. In this scenario, since no reply or exception is returned then the caller would wait indefinitely unless a request timeout value greater than 0 is specified.
ASAP-4125
When adapter received IDoc from SAP system, no error message was generated if an out-of-memory exception ocurred during processing.
Note:
Prior to HF5, if out-of-memory exception was raised then warning message AER3-970276 was generated. By applying HF5, an error message AER3-970041 is generated in addition to warning message AER3-970276.
The error message AER3-970041 is generated in the case where the IDoc has been sucessfully received by the adapter from the SAP JCo libraries. If an exception is raised internally in the SAP JCo libraries then error message AER4-970041 is not generated. In the case of out-of-memory errors generated by the SAP JCo libraries, the detection of this scenario is done by capturing exceptions in SAP system.
