Introduction

Hotfixes are cumulative. This hotfix includes all previous generally available

hotfixes for TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.10.0.

Installation

All Platforms:

 1. Shut down all running TIBCO applications.

 2. Back up the contents in the {TIBCO_HOME}\tra\5.10\hotfix\lib directory.

 3. Unzip the hotfix zip file to a temporary directory.

    For example, c:\tibco\trahotfix.

 4. Copy TIBCOUniversalInstaller from {TIBCO_HOME}/tools/universal_installer 

to the temporary directory.

 5. Launch the TIBCOUniversalInstaller{.exe,bin} executable from this 

    temporary directory and install the hotfix into the {TIBCO_HOME} 

    of the base product.

 6. Restart the TIBCO applications.

 Note:To install hotfix on AIX platform, you need to either restart the machine 

      or move the [TIBCO_HOME}\tibcojre directory to any temporary location.

Uninstallation

 1. Navigate to the <TIBCO_HOME>\tools\universal_installer.  

 2. Run the TIBCO Universal Installer and uninstall the hotfix using the wizard.

 Note:The uninstallation does not revert the updates made within

      the {TIBCO_HOME}\tibcojre folder.

Closed Issues in 5.10.0_HF-002(This Release)

DNSR-3834

On right-clicking in the Design panel of the TIBCO Designer, Add Resource option 

was not displayed.

TRA-3967

Oracle JRE 8 has been upgraded with patch u92 for Linux, Solaris, Solaris Sparc 

and Windows platforms, patch u71 for AIX platform, and patch u72 for HP platform.

TRA-3960

To fix security vulnerabilities, the version of Tomcat that is bundled with 

TIBCO Runtime Agent has been upgraded to Tomcat 7.0.69.

TRA-3953

On migrating to TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.10.0, the TIBCO Administrator failed to 

start up as the TIBCO Administrator Hawk console could not authenticate the 

EMS password. This was because the EMS password in the hawkagent.cfg were in 

single quotes.

TRA-3950

Restore the optional setting for enabling the SSLv3 for backward compatibility

for the Entrust Security Provider. TIBCrypt 2.18.303.001 has been bundled.

TRA-3929

TIBCO Runtime Agent now includes TLS_EMPTY_RENEGOTIATION_INFO_SCSV cipher suite 

for JSSE implementation; relevant when communicating with old SSL Servers 

which do not have complete support for renegotiation.

TRA-3928

TIBCO Runtime Agent now supports additional properties to selectively disable

TLS protocols 1.0 through 1.2 which are enabled by default.

The list of all the TLS/SSL properties is as follows.  Note that there's a 

distinct property for client-side sockets and another for server-side ones 

to allow for better flexibility in controlling the changes.

To disable TLS v1.0, set com.tibco.security.ssl.client.EnableTLSv1 to false

as well as com.tibco.security.ssl.server.EnableTLSv1 to false.

To disable TLS v1.1, set com.tibco.security.ssl.client.EnableTLSv11 to false

as well as com.tibco.security.ssl.server.EnableTLSv11 to false

To disable TLS v1.2, set com.tibco.security.ssl.client.EnableTLSv12 to false

as well as com.tibco.security.ssl.server.EnableTLSv12 to false

To disable SSLv2Hello, set com.tibco.security.ssl.server.EnableSSLv2Hello to 

false.  This is only for accepting handshakes from old Java 6 clients.

SSLv3 is set to false by default. To enable SSLv3, set one or both of the

properties com.tibco.security.ssl.client.EnableSSLv3 and/or

com.tibco.security.ssl.server.EnableSSLv3 to true.

On executing the Obfuscate utility from the command line, the following error 

was thrown:
