Description:
TIBCO Adapter for Files 5.5.0 hot fix 06 is released for the following supported platforms.  
Microsoft Windows 2000 (Professional, Server or Advanced Serve) on x86, Microsoft Windows XP on x86, Microsoft Windows 2003 on x86.
Solaris 8, 9, 10 on SPARC.
HP-UX 11/11i on PA-RISC, HP-UX 11iv2 on IA64 Itanium.
Linux 2.4 kernel: 2.4.6 or above, 2.2 glibc: 2.2.4 or above on x86
Linux 2.4 kernel: 2.4.18 or above, 2.3 glibc: 2.3.2 or above on x86
Linux 2.6 kernel: 2.6.8 or above, 2.3 glibc: 2.3.3 or above on x86  
AIX 5.2, 5.3 on POWER.

This hot fix is cumulative of prior hot fixes for this version. Listed below is a summary of updates included in Hot fix 6. Please refer to the attached Readme for additional details on these and other cumulative fixes included in this Hot fix.

AFIL-1465
The publication service created a data object for storing field content even when the field was empty.

AFIL-1469
The adapter could not communicate with post-5.5 adapters   in the SFT mode over the EMS transport.
This has been fixed.  A new TRA property useNewEncodingAlgorithm must  be created and needs to
be set to ON when communicating with  post-5.5 adapters.
