You can download this Hot Fix from the TIBCO Product Support FTP server using your eSupport username and password, at

The fixes below only affect TIBCO BusinessConnect(TM) EDI Protocol HIPAA
Edition 5.3.1 customers

CR: EDI-3806

When an outbound XML with attribute Standard="HIPAA" in root element is sent
to BusinessConnect engine, validation error was thrown. This has been fixed.


CR: HPAA-165

TIBCO BusinessConnect EDI Protocol HIPAA Edition 5.3.1 introduced supported
5010X231A1/999 ack that would fail to reconcile on some platforms. TIBCO
BusinessConnect EDI Protocol HIPAA Edition 5.3.1 declared a work around in
the Release Notes to fix the issue. Customers using this work-around should
rollback and use this fix in TIBCO BusinessConnect EDI Protocol directly.
