Description:
The hotfix can be downloaded from the TIBCO Support ftp server, support-ftp.tibco.com. Please use your eSupport username and password to access the server. After connecting, go to available_downloads/CollaborativeInformationManager/8.2.1/hotfix-18/  to download the hotfix.  This .tar file also has the Readme file inside. Please untar the file and look for the Readme file for Instruction on how to apply the hotfix.

The defects fixed in CIM 8.2.1 Hotfix 18 are:

CIM-16721
While generating an output file using synchronization, the IdentifyProtocolOperations activity failed with a concurrent modification exception.

CIM-16620
The import records operation failed intermittently with a concurrent modification exception. This issue occurred when ActiveSpaces contained multiple seeders.

CIM-16543
The DeleteRecord activity failed when the open cursor limit was crossed. The following error message was displayed: "java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded." This issue occurred on the Oracle database while deleting records from a repository that contained multi-value attributes.

CIM-16531
Importing records using Database Loader failed, after applying the TIBCO Collaborative Information Manager 8.2.1_HF-016 release version.

CIM-16522
The record remained in the UNCONFIRMED state after executing the Record Modify web service with the following settings:
- record state as CONFIRMED
- commandqualifier as "NoValidate/NoProcess"
- security permission as "Allow confirmation of record without workflow" with the resource type as Record for the Repository resource

CIM-16493
When the rulebase was applied in the PrepareForImportCatalog activity in Async mode, the unique constraint violation error occurred intermittently.

Purge using datacleanup utility was not deleting the records from various tables.

CIM-16365
After assigning a separate security permission to each repository for different roles, logging into TIBCO MDM failed with the following exception:
ORA-01795: maximum number of expressions in a list is 1000.

CIM-11759
On the Add Record and Modify Record pages when the value was assigned to any attribute using rulebase, the entire page was refreshed and the value was assigned to the targeted attribute. However, the cursor position moved automatically. Either it moved to the previous field where data was entered or it moved ahead randomly to any of the following fields.
