Description:
TIBCO Adapter(TM) for LDAP 5.4.0 Hotfix 4 is released for all the platforms supported by TIBCO Adapter(TM) for LDAP 5.4.0.  Please refer to the product readme for details regarding the supported platforms.

Listed below is a summary of updates included in this Hotfix. Please refer to the Hotfix Readme for additional details and installation instructions.

When European characters were present in the DN field, LDAP operations
failed.

This hot fix can be downloaded from the TIBCO Product Support ftp server, ftp://support-ftp.tibco.com/, using your username and password for the TIBCO Support Web.  Once logged on, you can find the hot fix under:

Configuration Changes
===================
After applying the hotfix, UTF-8 adapter encoding should be used to handle European characters. This is set in the LDAP Adapter Configuration – General Tab. By Default, this parameter is set to ASCII.

Known Issues
============
TIBCO Adapter(TM) for LDAP running on Linux Platforms fails to perform the LDAP Operations on a DN containing European Characters

Symptoms:
The adapter while performing any of the LDAP Operations fails with the below error –

“AELDAP-00011 is not a valid DN for the service”

This issue occurs only when TIBCO Messaging encoding is ISO8859-1 and the adapter service is configured with JMS Transport.

Resolution:
Resolution of this issue is currently under investigation
