Description:
TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for Database 5.5.0 Hotfix 2 is released for all the platforms supported by TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for Database 5.5.0.

Listed below is a summary of updates included in this Hotfix. Please refer to the attached Readme for additional details and installation instructions.

Closed Issues in Hotfix 2

1-9LWQ1B : (Microsoft SQL Server only) With the alerter configured, the adapter did not terminate properly. The adapter log said the process had terminated but the process was still running.
This has been fixed.

1-9RDOX9 : (Microsoft SQL Server only) The custom RPC operation did not process the stored procedure correctly with nchar/nvarchar parameters when adb.unicode was set to UTF16. The  input string was truncated and the output string was corrupted.
This has been fixed.

1-90S5BN : (Microsoft SQL Server only) When adb.unicode was set to UTF8, the data from the NVARCHAR columns became corrupted after publication.
This has been fixed.

1-9E5BER : When the procedure parameter type was char(n), the last character of the output string was truncated in a custom RPC operation.
This has been fixed.

1-9C4B7T : When the length of the input string was equal to the column size, the last character of the input string was truncated by the request response server.
This has been fixed.


**Additional instructions for 1-9RDOX9
set the property -- adb.unicode -- to UTF16 in the .tra file.
For example,

adb.unicode = UTF16

Known Issues with this Hotfix:

1-9TLFL3 :  (Microsoft SQL Server only) Subscription Service  throws error while inserting data into columns of NCHAR/NVARCHAR datatype.
Workaround : Set adb.encoding=UTF8, adb.unicode=UTF16, adb.wchar=SQL_C_BINARY. Because adb.encoding is set to UTF8, TIBCO Message encoding should also be set to UTF8
