In addition to the defects resolved in hotfixes 1 & 2, the following defects are also addressed in this release:

     *  Modified rtmon runtime to allow for the setting of the newly added monitor_level option. (SR-35MQ4l)

     *  Introduce new subject table traversal functions to address logging problems within the SmartSockets Cache Product. (SR-32SHSX)

     *  Allowed  SmartSockets applications to run in the absence of a valid message catalog file. (PD-2YTJ2D)

     *  Changed the locking behavior for named fields to allow for better performance.

     *  Modified the usage of server_read_timeout in Java.  Previously  setting server_read_timeout affected the amount of time a conn_init response was waited on.  server_read_timeout no longer affects this operation. (SR-2ZZVQK)
