TIBCO BusinessConnect RosettaNet Protocol 5.1.0 hotfix 3 has been released.

You can download this Hot Fix from the TIBCO Product Support FTP server using your eSupport username and password, at

Once you have successfully logged into the server, you will find the hotfix packages under

Closed Issues in 5.1.0-hotfix3

CR 1-7B1CBC
If TP name is null in the outbound message or TP is inactive, BCRN 51
is not capturing the payload and details in the audit lot.

CR 1-7CMA7B
Hyphen in PID (for example, PID-11594310020410008629) was causing
problems for some customers. With this hotfix, the hyphen is absent
in PIDs.

CR 1-7FF0QX
SMIME/Implicit signing was not working. This is fixed.

CR 1-7G5G9N
Some customers were experiencing performance degradation due to a
BCRN feature that allows for inline variable replacements and other
modifications in outbound documents. Now you can regain lost
performance by disabling this feature using this property:
bcrn.outbound.doc.inline.replacement. The default value is "true,"
which enables document modifications. Set the property to "False"
to disable this feature.


CR 1-7HIFJP
In certain cases, TIBCO Administrator displayed audit log messages
in encrypted or compressed format, making them unreadable. This
happened when both the initiator and the responder were configured
to use encryption or compression. This has been fixed; Administrator
now displays audit log messages in human-readable form.

CR 1-7T3F6F
The software was sending duplicate requests even when the
bcrn.outbound.request.dupdetection was set to true. This is fixed.


CR 1-7MBKPC
The "Use Digital Signature Where Required" property was only taking
effect when Non Repudiation was enabled. Now, these two features can
be configured independently of these properties:
    Override Message Properties      
    Digital Signature is Required     
    Non Repudiation is Required

Note: "Override Message Properties" will only take affect if
"Use Digital Signature Where Required" is set to "true".

CR 1-7PWZ3W
When a database exception occurred, the software didn't record the
exception in the Audit log, but transaction went through to the
trading partner. The software now provides tracing(transaction
details) for exceptions.
