Description:
Hotfix 3 for TIBCO Adapter for Siebel v5.2.0 is now available on all supported platforms. This hot fix is cumulative of prior hot fixes for this version. Listed below is a summary of updates included in Hot fix 3. Please refer to the attached Readme for additional details on these and other cumulative fixes included in this Hot fix.

Defect ID assigned: 1-6JTTAZ
Defect description: When a project is opened with Request-Response service configured and having Quality of service as distributed queue; on renaming the Business event, two endpoint references are created under advanced/sessions/&ltsession_name>/&ltsession_type>/&ltreference>. When project is saved and reopened, on doing validate project for deployment an error is displayed.

Solution: This has been fixed. The adapter now deletes the unused reference endpoint on renaming the Business event.

Defect description: When a project is opened with Request-Response service configured, and 'Get Fields' is selected under the BC configuration tab to re-fetch all fields for the BC, the field properties are not updated for those used fields whose properties are changed. As an example, if a Request-Response service is configured with a field, which was not a pick list in previous version of Siebel, and 'Get fields' is selected with the present Siebel version, the particular field is not updated as a pick list.

Solution: This has been fixed. The adapter now re-fetches the properties for field that were already configured.

Defect ID assigned: 1-6CQBVY
Defect description: While doing an INSERT/UPDATE on a BC with a child MVL configured, which has a large number of records present, a large SQL query is generated which causes IBM DB2 database to crash.

Solution: This defect has been fixed.
