During Data Object Broker peer or gateway connection processing, communications code in the Data Object Broker module HRNCR210+29E at 5.0 (GA) may encounter a S0C4 abend due to register 3 containing an invalid address. If an abend does not occur, incorrect information will be moved into communications field COMMTRMN.


Symptoms
========
A S0C4 abend may occur in HRNCR210+29E at 5.0 (GA) during peer or gateway connection processing. This abend may manifest itself as a S0C4 abend in some other connecting address space if MVS Cross Memory Services (XM) is being used for the connection request.


Impact
======
The connection processing typically abends but the connection is useable.

==========
None.

Resolution
==========
Download Hotfix 02 for TIBCO Object Service Broker for z/OS 5.0.0  and apply to your system. Follow the instructions in the README supplied as part of the HotFix package to apply to your system. Note that hotfixes are cumulative and contain maintenance issued up to this particular hotfix.
