Effective June 12, 2014, TIBCO is officially ending support for release 4.0.x of the TIBCO Spotfire product family. This includes the following products:

•    TIBCO Spotfire Automation Services
•    TIBCO Spotfire Clinical
•    TIBCO Spotfire Developer
•    TIBCO Spotfire Professional/Enterprise Player
•    TIBCO Spotfire Qualification
•    TIBCO Spotfire Web Player

In addition, effective June 12, 2014, TIBCO is officially ending support for release 3.3.x and prior versions of

•    TIBCO Spotfire Server
•    TIBCO Spotfire Statistics Services Software

Since these 3.3.x versions were also used with the Spotfire 4.0.x platform, their End of Support was not previously announced,



This action will take effect on June 12, 2014.  The purpose of this notification is to officially communicate this policy and request that you upgrade, as soon as possible, to a supported release of the product.  Check the TIBCO Product Download Site (http://download.tibco.com) for the most recent release when planning your upgrade.

During the next 12 months, Support will answer product questions, but enhancements and service packs will not be provided.

Service Requests on version 4.0.x and prior will no longer be accepted after June 12, 2014. Service Requests under investigation for the releases being retired will be closed as of the retirement date, June 12, 2014.

TIBCO Support Knowledge Base articles will continue to be available from the TIBCO Support Web and existing hot fixes will continue to be available from the TIBCO Spotfire Support Web Site to all customers beyond the retirement date.
