TIBCO is officially ending support for release 4.4.x of TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS).  This action will take effect on July 31, 2012.
Although the release 4.4.x versions of this product are already obsolete per our standard support policy, the purpose of this notification is to officially communicate this policy and request that you migrate, as soon as possible, to a supported release of the product.  Check the TIBCO Product Download Site (http://download.tibco.com) for the most recent release when planning your upgrade.

During the next 18 months, Support will answer product questions, but enhancements and service pack releases will not be provided. Defect corrections will be considered for critical defects with no workarounds.  

Service Requests on TIBCO Enterprise Message Service 4.4.x will no longer be accepted after July 31, 2012. Service Requests under investigation for the releases being retired will be closed as of the retirement date, July 31, 2012. TIBCO Support Knowledge Base articles will continue to be available from the TIBCO Support Web and existing hot fixes will continue to be available from the TIBCO Product Support ftp server to all customers beyond the retirement date.

Please note that TIBCO EMS 4.4.x will continue to be supported (without extended support) when used with supported TIBCO product versions that require it, such as TIBCO Business Works 5.8.0  which supports TRA 5.6.1 that in turn included the EMS 4.4.x libraries.
