How to resolve Spotfire Statistica Enterprise Manager freezing up after selecting "All Tasks"

Description

When opening Statistica Enterprise Manager from the Statistica thick client, Enterprise Manager will freeze up if the All Tasks is selected.

Environment

OS:  Windows

Resolution

Resolution One

Avoid select "All Tasks." Only select the individual task to inspect. 

 

Resolution Two

Launch Statistica Enterprise Manager directly instead of via the Statistica thick client (Start>>Statistica>>Statistica Enterprise Manager).  

Note that Statistica Enterprise Manager is a separate application.

 

Resolution Three

  1. Open Regedit and go to  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\StatSoft\Statistica Enterprise Manager

  2. Right-click in the empty space for Statistica Enterprise Manager

  3.  Select New>>DWORD (32-bit)  Value and name it DashboardMTRefresh

  4.  Reboot the server

Issue/Introduction

Spotfire Statistica>>Enterprise Manager will freeze up if "All Tasks" is selected.  After selecting All Tasks, when selecting other Enterprise Objects, Enterprise Manager will freeze and show it is busy.
