Description

This is the first hotfix for TIBCO Managed File Transfer (MFT) Platform 
Server for UNIX 8.1.2. This is a cumulative hotfix and includes all generally 
available fixes for TIBCO Managed File Transfer Platform Server for UNIX 8.1.2.

Environment

All supported environments.

Resolution

Hotfix TIB_mftps-unix&zlinux_8.1.2_HF-001 can be downloaded from TIBCO Support Portal (https://support.tibco.com).

You will need to provide your TIBCO Support Portal credentials.  Once logged in you can download the hotfix by selecting the “Downloads” -> “Hotfixes” option. Then go to “/AvailableDownloads/MFT/ PlatformServer/UNIX-zLinux/8.1.2/hotfix-01/” to download the hotfix.

The folder has the Readme file inside. Please review the Readme file for instructions on how to apply the hotfix.

Closed Issues in 8.1.2_HF-001 (This Release)

PSU-1145
When a HostName in cfnode.cfg exceeds 1024 characters, transfers may fail and 
CyberResp may create a core dump.

PSU-1143
When the local file name has only one qualifier, the PPA %HLQ token resolves to
"HLQ" and the PPA %Q01 token resolves to "Q01".

PSU-1141
Transfers can stop responding when sending email notifications to an 
unresponsive SMTP server.

PSU-1140
You cannot set the Config.txt "ResponderProfile" parameter to "N" when running 
as a non-root user.

PSU-1139
When executing an SSL or Tunnel directory transfer through Command Center, 
a core dump may be written if the TLS certificate file is not found.

PSU-1129
When sending an email to an SMTP server using TLS or StartTLS mode, 
an exception may occur, and the email is not sent.

PSU-1118
After commenting out the HADirectory parameter in config.txt, 
CyberResp may fail to start and display the following error: 
"In HA Mode, ConfigDirectory is expected to be xxxxxxxxxxxx".

PSU-1114
NULL records are written to the Admin.txt file.

PSU-1099
OpenSSL and OpenSSL FIPS are upgraded to version 3.
Note: For instructions on how to activate FIPS mode, 
see FipsActivationInstructions.txt.

PSU-587
The "RetryAllRemoteErrors"(shortcut "rre") Command Line parameter is added to
retry transfers for permanent and retryable errors returned by the Platform
Server Responder partner.
Note: Permanent transfer errors detected on the Platform Server Initiator
are not retried.
