Description

In Statistica Web Data Entry, the "View Sample Revision History" functionality fails to display the expected revision details and instead shows an empty page. This issue may occur in multiple environments and can affect pre-existing and newly created samples. The revision history page remains blank for all users, including administrators. It was found that the .NET Framework HTTP Activation feature is either disabled or not installed, leading to the failure of the relevant service endpoint. Step-by-step instructions to resolve the issue: 

Enable HTTP Activation for .NET Framework:

  1. Open Server Manager on the server hosting Statistica.
  2. Select Add Roles and Features Wizard.
  3. Navigate to Features > .NET Framework 4.x Features.
  4. Enable HTTP Activation and complete the installation process.
  5. Restart the server to ensure changes take effect.

Verify the resolution:

  1. Log in to the Statistica environment.
  2. Access a sample in the Data Entry module.
  3. Click on "View Sample Revision History."
  4. Confirm that the sample revision history is displayed correctly.
