The error occurs due to the architecture mismatch between the Power BI Connector (x86-based) and the ARM-based architecture of the customer’s machine. Newer Mac machines exclusively use ARM-based processors, which are incompatible with the existing Power BI drivers.

CData has created a new 32-bit driver adapter that is compatible with ARM architectures. The new driver can be downloaded from the following link:

This adapter allows the Power BI Connector for TIBCO® Data Virtualization to be used on ARM-based Mac machines.

The customer encounters the following error when attempting to use the Power BI Connector for TIBCO® Data Virtualization ODBC driver:

"The setup routines for the Power BI Connector for TIBCO® Data Virtualization ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 193."
