EDISIM Standards Update 2/11/2025

<> The standards listed below are available by downloading

<> the StdUpdate.EXE file. The Standards Update only includes

<> X12 versions 007060 and Edifact versions D.18A and later. For

<> standards older than these, you will need to install the

<> the latest version of EDISIM

<> ASC X12 007060 standard (X12-7060.STD)

<> ASC X12 008010 standard (X12-8010.STD)

<> ASC X12 008020 standard (X12-8020.STD)

<> ASC X12 008030 standard (X12-8030.STD) Note 1

<> ASC X12 008040 standard (X12-8040.STD) Note 1

<> ASC X12 008050 standard (X12-8050.STD) Note 1

Note 1: X12-8030, X12-8040, and X12-8050 contain a new element type ID2. At this

time the EDISIM products do not fully support the handling of the ID2 element.

It is treated as an ID type. Currently one element 1836 contains the ID2 type.

It does not contain any predefined code values.

NOTE 1: The Edifact Syntax 4 Versions of EDIFACT work only on EDISIM Versions 6.xx

and later.

This installation also updates the English text descriptions and notes

associated with the supplied Standards. This "static" text

is maintained in the two files STATK and STATT within your

\EDISIM\STATIC directory. Note that some titles, descriptions and

purposes may vary slightly from previous standards. If a description

for an element, say, has had minor syntax changes made between

standards releases, then both standards will use the newer text.

Standards Installation.

==========================================================================

1. Sign into TIBCO Support (https://support.tibco.com) using your credentials.

2. Select Downloads\Hotfixes.

3. Navigate to Foresight > Guidelines_Standards > X12_EDIFACT_Industry_Standards > <Version>.

4. Download StdUpdate.EXE.

5. Navigate to the folder containing the newly downloaded StdUpdate.EXE.

6. Double-click on StdUpdate.EXE.

7. Respond to the installation prompts.

* Standalone Installs:

For Destination Location, specify the high-level EDISIM folder

* Network Installs:

For Destination Location, specify the high-level EDISIM folder (usually TIBCO\EDISIM) on the network.

8. Click Finish on the Installation Complete screen.
