The LTS policy offers extended support for designated product versions, allowing you to maintain a secure and supported environment for longer without frequent upgrades.

Key highlights of the LTS policy include:

  • Long Support Period: LTS releases are typically supported with Hotfixes and/or Service Packs for five years from general availability (GA).
  • Predictable Release Cadence: New LTS versions will be released with a predictable cadence, ensuring ample time for planning and migration.
  • Extended Support Option: For added flexibility, extended support for an LTS version may be available for purchase for one year after the standard support period ends (subject to approvals). Please note that Hotfixes and Service Packs are not created for versions in extended support.
  • Access to New Features: For customers who want the latest features and enhancements as quickly as possible, mainstream releases are more frequent.

Issue/Introduction

In February 2025, TIBCO  announced the introduction of a Long-Term Support (LTS) policy for select products. This policy is designed to provide greater flexibility and stability for customers with strict regulatory requirements or those who prefer longer periods between upgrades.
