Resolution
1. Download the Starburst ODBC driver. Current information is located at https://docs.starburst.io/clients/odbc.html
As of the writing of this article, the current version is 2.02.01.1006 (https://starburstdata-downloads-v2.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/odbc/2025/2.2.1.1006/StarburstODBC64bit-2.2.1.1006.msi)
2. Install the driver by right-clicking on the MSI file and selecting Install:
3. Create a System ODBC 64 bit DSN (Administrative Tools>>ODBC Data Sources (64-Bit)). An example is below:
Note: The connection string can be found under Partner connect:
4. Open Statistica>>Enterprise Manager
5. Right-click on Data Connections, select "New OLE DB Database Connection", and then "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers":
7. Name the database connection appropriately
8. Test the connection:
Now the data from Starburst can be retrieved, for example, by creating a Data Configuration and exploring the data:
