OS: Windows
Use the lower version of Statistica to migrate to a higher version. For example, if Statistica 13.5 is currently used in production and the upgrade is to Statistica 14.2, then follow these steps:
1. Login to Statistica 13.5
2. Open Enterprise Manager>>Enterprise Database Migration Utility
3. Click on the "Source DB" button and select the DSN for 13.5:
4. Select the "Destination DB" button and select the DSN for 14.2:
5. Both object trees appear in the migration utility without the need to upgrade the database version:
Advisory: Make a backup of the source database before migrating any objects.
