When installing a Windows version, or when Windows is pre-installed, which doesn't use a decimal separator, e.g., German, then the following error may occur:
One likely cause is usually the comma separator is in use. This can be check by viewing the data tables in Spotfire Analyst. Below, one of the tables is using the comma in place of the decimal separator:
OS: Windows for Statistica
OS: Linux or Windows for Spotfire Server/Webplayer
Solution One
Change regional settings to English or to a language that uses the decimal separator:

Change the Decimal symbol to dot (.) in the Region settings:
Solution Three
Copy the settings to the Welcome screen and system accounts by following the steps below:
1. Click Region>>Administrative tab
2. Under the Welcome screen and new user account section, click the "Copy Settings...." button
3. Under Copy your current settings to:, check "Welcome screen and system accounts" and click OK
Note: Sometimes a reboot is require after making the above settings. If after making the above change and the issue persists, then reboot the server. If the issue still persists, create a case at https://support.tibco.com (current support maintenance is required).
