Description
An analyst can enable or disable the version history setting per analysis in the library from within the Spotfire Analyst client.
You can modify this setting for the current opened analysis within the Library section options in the Document Properties dialog. You need write permissions on the analysis for changing this setting.

Refer steps below to Configure Version History in Spotfire Analyst:

- Checked → Older versions of the analysis will be saved.
- Unchecked → Only the most recent version will be saved (If the file previously has older library versions saved, these versions will be kept until manually removed from the library; only future versions are affected when changing this setting).

Additionally, if you want to enable or disable version history for all analyses by default, Spotfire administrators can manage this at the environment level. You can turn off version history entirely by using the command-line configuration tool and setting library.versioning.enabled to false.
Issue/Introduction
Spotfire analyst allows developer/users to manage version history settings for individual analyses directly from the Analyst client. An analysts can enable or disable version history setting for each analysis in the library from within the Spotfire Analyst client. By only saving the version history for the most important analyses, you can keep the storage need for the library to a minimum.
