Description

Hotfixes are cumulative. This hotfix includes all previous generally available

hotfixes for TIBCO Managed File Transfer Platform Server for Windows 8.1.0.

Environment

All supported environments.

Resolution

Hotfix TIB_mftps-win_8.1.0_HF-003 can be downloaded from TIBCO Support Portal (https://support.tibco.com).

You will need to provide your TIBCO Support Portal credentials. Once logged in you can download the hotfix by selecting the “Downloads” -> “Hotfixes” option. Then go to “/AvailableDownloads/MFT/ PlatformServer/Windows/8.1.0/hotfix-03” to download the hotfix.

The .zip file has the Readme file inside. Please unzip the file and review the Readme file for instructions on how to apply the hotfix.

Closed Issues in 8.1.0_HF-003 (This Release)

PSW-1095

Command Center Audit Inquiry do not work if the password used for the PSW

server account is longer than 32 bytes.

PSW-1198

Performance Improvement: Simplify the check point restart logic so the system

do not parse the Active Queue to locate the request.

PSW-1203

Event messages related to transfers do not appear in Event Viewer on Windows

Server 2025. Past transactions are not displayed.

PSW-1211

After upgrading from PSW 8.0 Template passwords might become invalid.

Note: This is a Known Issue.

Save the ftmssvr.pqf file from release prior to 8.1.0.

After applying HF-003, stop ftmssvr.exe and replace ftmssvr.pqf with the

previously saved one.

Closed Issues in 8.1.0_HF-002

PSW-1117

The 'ftmscmd.exe' and 'ftmsmgr.exe' processes might persist in the task manager

even after the associated applications have been stopped.

PSW-1107

PSW DNI does not maintain the directory structure on directory send or

directory receive, when the scan subdirectories option is enabled and the

$(SDIR) token is used.

PSW-1105

When using 'ftmscmd' command for a '*VER'(already verified) user id,

remote login fails.

PSW-1024

In 'cfnode.cfg', when the HostName contains more than 1024 characters,

'ftmssvr.exe' crashes.

PSW-1023

When Daylight Saving is turned on, Platform Server for Windows reports

'UTCOffset' incorrectly.

PSW-1021

When submitting a 'cfxfer' request from Command Center using responder profiles,

the user fails to log in.

PSW-1019

DNI templates generated to receive files on a secure port using 'DNIMigration'

utility fail to add '/tls' to 'RemoteCommand' in the Dni Tempalte, causing

failure.

PSW-1018

The 'ftmscmd' command does not display results for the submit parameter

when doing directory transfers.

PSW-1017

The PPA %Q01 token resolves to 'Q01' when the local file name has only one

qualifier.

PSW-1097

Update sslutility.exe to only use FIPS compliant algorithms.

PSW-1094

Command Center Audit Inquiry intermittently fails with the error:

"Could not logon user xxxxxxx. The user name or password is incorrect."

PSW-1093

When a transfer encounters an exception, duplicate Log.txt records can be

created, causing Command Center audit inquiry requests to fail with the error:

"Failed to obtain a unique transfer status record."

PSW-1092

When executing either transfer commands or PPA commands with the file names

longer than 250 bytes, transfers might fail and create mini-dumps.

PSW-1022

When a Platform Server client initiates a tunnel request and Platform Server

for Windows encounters a TLS initialization error, the request fails, causing

all subsequent incoming tunnel requests to stop responding.
