Installation
 
1. Stop TIBCO Designer.
 
2. Back up the following existing files to a safe location that should be
   outside of the $TIBCO_HOME directory:
 
  - $TIBCO_HOME/bw/plugins/lib/palettes/common_utils_library.jar
 
  - $TIBCO_HOME/bw/plugins/lib/palettes/iProcessPlugin.jar
 
  - $TIBCO_HOME/bw/plugins/lib/palettes/log4j-core-2.11.1.jar
 
  - $TIBCO_HOME/bw/plugins/lib/palettes/log4j-api-2.11.1.jar
 
  - $TIBCO_HOME/bw/plugins/lib/palettes/crypto.jar
 
3. Delete the following files from the $TIBCO_HOME directory:
 
  - $TIBCO_HOME/bw/plugins/lib/palettes/log4j-core-2.11.1.jar
 
  - $TIBCO_HOME/bw/plugins/lib/palettes/log4j-api-2.11.1.jar
 
  - $TIBCO_HOME/bw/plugins/lib/palettes/crypto.jar
 
4. Copy the common_utils_library.jar, iProcessPlugin.jar, 
   log4j-core-2.17.2.jar and log4j-api-2.17.2.jar files from the 
   given package to the following path and leaving the permissions and 
   ownership as they are.
 
  - $TIBCO_HOME/bw/plugins/lib/palettes/common_utils_library.jar
 
  - $TIBCO_HOME/bw/plugins/lib/palettes/iProcessPlugin.jar
 
  - $TIBCO_HOME/bw/plugins/lib/palettes/log4j-core-2.17.2.jar
 
  - $TIBCO_HOME/bw/plugins/lib/palettes/log4j-api-2.17.2.jar
   
5. Restart TIBCO Designer.

IMPORTANT: This hotfix works only on TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 5.15.1 and above.

   Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server
      7.6, 7.x, 8.0, 8.x 64-bit on x86-64
   SUSE Linux Enterprise Server
      12 SP2, 12.x, 15, 15.x 64-bit on x86-64

 

Resolution

The hotfix can be downloaded from the TIBCO Support Customer Portal Web UI,
using your username and password for the TIBCO Support Web.

Once logged on the hotfix can be found under the Downloads Menu:
