Using a spreadsheet with marked points, samples can be imported into Statistica Data Entry. This articles provides an example of how to upload data to a data entry setup with pieces of variable size.
OS: Windows
1. As an example, create a data entry setup with two piece labels and one Individual and Moving Range (IMR) characteristic, like the following:

2. Download the data entry template for the data entry setup by selecting "Import Data" and then selecting "Download Template":


The template spreadsheet contains the following:

3. Add the sample data to the spreadsheet and mark the row which corresponds to the beginning of the sample.
Note these samples have three pieces each:

Using marked points, samples can have variable sizes. In the spreadsheet below, one sample has four pieces but the rest have only three:
Note: To mark the row that begins the sample, right-click on the row and select "Marked Points":

1. Select the Data Entry setup
2. Select the "Choose File" button
3. Click "Upload"
4. Select "Auto Match"

5. Select options, if applicable, otherwise leave as default and click "Import Data":

6. Click "OK" on the notification and view the results at the bottom of the page:
