Spotfire Statistica Web Data Entry (a.k.a. Data Entry) can be configtured to use Okta (or another OpenID provider) for electronic sigature when completing a sample.

Electronic Signature requires its own OIDC application and External Authentication configuration in Enterprise Manager.
1. Create a new OIDC web application:


2. Name the application:

3. Configure the assignments to "Allow everyone in your organization to access" and uncheck the "Enable immediate access with Federation Broker Mode":

4. Set the sign-in and sign-out redirects:

5. Add the application to the Authentication Policy. Note that the Authentication Policy for the data entry login can be used. See step 7 and 8 of this knowledge base article https://support.tibco.com/support-home/kbsearch/article?articleNumber=KB0138598

6. Set the Token claims>>Group claim to Filter and Matches regex: .* and Save:


1. Conifigure a new External Autentications in Enterprise Manager. All the fields below in a red box must be populated:

2. Click Save to save the configuration
1. Open the Data Entry web.config file. The typical location is C:\WebStatisticaPub\DataEntry\:

2. Add the entry like below, using the external authentication configuration name:

3. Save the file
4. Open an administrator command prompt and run this command: iisreset
