Description

This hotfix resolves defects that have been fixed since V8.1.0 was released.

All supported environments.

Resolution

Hotfix TIB_mftps-zos_8.1.0-HF-006 can be downloaded from TIBCO Support Portal (https://support.tibco.com).

You will need to provide your TIBCO Support Portal credentials. Once logged in you can download the hotfix by selecting the “Downloads” -> “Hotfixes” option. Then go to “/AvailableDownloads/MFT/PlatformServer/zOS/8.1.0/hotfix-06” to download the hotfix.

The .zip file has the Readme file inside. Please unzip the file and review the Readme file for instructions on how to apply the hotfix.

Defects fixed in V810HF06 (This Release)

PSZ-515 On directory receive, file names are corrupted when LCT is set

and RCT is set to NULL

PSZ-514 When a directory transfer is executing and the WORKQ runs out of

space, a storage overlay can occur that can cause 0C1 abends on

subsequent transfers

PSZ-508 When a PSZ transfer uses the CRLF parameter, the value for the

'Delimiter' parameter on MFT logs is listed incorrectly

PSZ-504 During periods of high transfer volume, one or more transfers

may not be collected by Command Center

PSZ-503 When performing a Send directory of a zfs directory with many files

in it, some files are not transferred

PSZ-502 When many transfers complete at the same time, some transfers

are not returned to the Command Center Collector

PSZ-499 The Batch interface receives "Connect Timeout" errors when using

TCP to schedule a transfer with the started task

Note: Three new FUSCFG parameters have been added to support retries

when the schedule request fails with a CONNECT error:

CONNECTTIMEOUT=30 TCP CONNECT Timeout (10-255 seconds)

CONNECTFAILUREWAIT=30 Wait between failed CONNECT (1-255 seconds)

CONNECTTRIES=1 Number of CONNECT tries (1-255)

Note: This hotfix must be installed on all interfaces (ISPF, REXX, BATCH)

before the FUSCFG enry is updated; otherwise requests will fail.

PSZ-494 When using ZLIB to compress uncompressible files, transfers

may fail with error: "received data length 5FB612FF longer than

Max Req. 7FF8" or "Invalid LU6.2 GDS received"

Defects fixed in V810HF02

PSZ-488 When GLOBAL ENFORCE_SECURITY_POLICY is set to FIPS140, message

PGTS0029I is displayed and SNA initialization can be bypassed

PSZ-487 When initiating a small file transfer to Internet Server and the

transfer fails due to an Internet Server error, the transfer fails

with a network error and the node definition is put into an error

state

PSZ-485 Responder File Deallocation is performed after the transfer ends

and can cause allocation problems with third party software

Note: A new Global parameter was added:

DEALLOCATE=CLOSE|ENDOFTRANSFER (Defalt: ENDOFTRANSFER)

PSZ-480 When the Global or Node definition specifies a default encryption,

TLS TUNNEL initiated transfers receive error: "PGTM7219E Invalid

Password exceeds max length 8"

PSZ-479 The output dataset always uses the volume count of the input

dataset

Note: A new Batch parameter was added:

VOLCT=nnn or VOLUMECOUNT=nnn
