Description
The operation"APPROVE" is not allowed is an error observed while rejecting the samples by an Approver using the Review Sample button on Data Entry Samples.
Environment
Statistica All Server.
Windows OS.
Resolution
This error is observed when a user with Data Entry Approver permission can't reject their own samples.
It needs below permission to be configured in the system options of Statistica Enterprise --> System Options --> Data Entry Settings:
1. "Allow user to approve their own samples" along with the sub-option "For Blind Data Entry, the user making last change can also approve" enables users to approve their own samples and send them to revision as well.
If the above checkboxes are not checked, the user will observe the above error even though having "Approver" privileges.
