Description
In version 9.1.3, 9.2.4, 9.3.0 and higher, the Installation and startup of the WebFOCUS Reporting Server, and Data Migrator Server requires a valid Customer ID and license file (license.txt).
Your Customer ID is applied to the WebFOCUS Reporting Server and Data Migrator Server during installation, and is required for upgrades and new installs. After the installation is complete, your license file must be applied to the Server configuration.
Failure to provide a valid Company ID and corresponding license file will cause the Server to not start with the following messages in edaprint.log
E failed to open license file 'C:\ibi\930\wfs\bin\license.txt' E Workspace initialization aborted E (EDA13171) UNABLE TO START SERVER Workspace Manager stopped

How to obtain your Customer ID and License.txt file
If you do not have your Customer ID or License file please contact ibi Customer Support at https://support.tibco.com
Once you have your Customer ID and License file follow the steps described in #2 below.
If you have your Customer ID and License file
During the Installation process you will be prompted for your Customer ID. Enter your Customer ID to continue with the installation.
When the installation is complete, and before you start the WebFOCUS or Data Migrator Server, your license.txt file must be placed into the EDACONF/bin directory of the installation. For example ibi\srv93\wfs\bin on Windows or ibi/srv93/wfs/bin on Linux.
Note: If these steps are not followed, the WebFOCUS and Data Migrator Servers will not start after installation.
