Description
- When moving from WebFOCUS version 8105 to 8206, we download and run the installation files from WF client and WF Reporting server .
- Then there are 2 options after running the installation file of WF-Client , either do a new installation or upgrade the existing version .
- But after running the installation file of WF-reporting server we will just get one option, i.e. Do a new installation.

So for server we have to perform a new installation by keeping a note of the below points :
- Normally, an 81 Server would be under \ibi\srv81\wfs so install a new Server to ibi\srv82\wfs.
- Make sure you take a backup of the ibi directory before starting the new install.
- After the install you can migrate the existing configuration or recreate it by adding the adapters and connections.
