Resolution

When an in-place upgrade is performed in DV, the archived files/folders of the previous versions are placed under the [DV_Server_Install_Dir]/install/preXX path. These files are not used by the DV application in runtime and are only present to help a user roll back to the previous versions if needed.

Can the files be deleted?
Yes, these files can be deleted, However, once deleted, one cannot roll back to a previous DV version. So if there are plans to rollback in the future, an option would be to backup these files in a different location outside the TDV Server Install directory.
