TIBCO BusinessConnect External Users can be created directly on LDAP servers from the TIBCO Administrator GUI,.  The procedure below describes how to do it.

TIBCO BusinessConnect external users can be created on LDAP servers directly from BusinessConnect > User Management > Users > External tab in TIBCO Administrator GUI. 

This feature is done by selecting the LDAP server as the top authentication source under BusinessConnect > System Settings > User Authentication Configuration when creating an external user.

The user authentication sources listed on the User Authentication Configuration page are ordered by priority. The authentication source listed on the top of the list is the target data destination when the external user is created.

When using this function, ensure that a valid value is configured for the bc.ldap.rolebasedn.attribute property that is located in TIBCO Administrator GUI under BusinessConnect > System Settings > Activated Protocol Plug-ins and Properties > BC.

The TIBCO Administrator GUI can be used to directly add, delete, and update external users to LDAP servers.
