Description

By default, the "Reset All Filters" option, available either from the pop-up menu in the filters panel, in the data panel, on the toolbar, or from the Edit menu, will return all filters, visible or hidden, in the active filtering scheme to their original state. That filtering scheme may be used on multiple pages and therefore using "Reset All Filters" may at times have the undesired effect of resetting the filters on multiple pages. It is possible to configure the report in a way that using "Reset All Filters" will only reset the filters on the active page only.

Resolution

To do this, create a new filtering scheme that is unique to the page you want reset. To create a new filtering scheme, go here:
  1. File menu > Document Properties > Filtering Schemes
  2. Click "New" to create and name your new filtering scheme.
  3. Ensure that "Show filtering scheme menus in Filters panel" is checked
  4. In the Filters panel on the page/tab of your choice, select your new filtering scheme from the Filtering scheme drop down at the top. This will make this the default filtering scheme for this page.
Now you can use "Reset All Filters" on this page and it will only reset the filters for this page's active filtering scheme without effecting filtering on other pages.
