If you set the 'Show Filter Panel'  preference setting to 'False'as shown below (using the Administration Manager tool), it would hide filter panel for Web Player users in Web Player.



However, in Spotfire version 10.3.1 (HF-004 and below) and 10.4, even though you set 'Show Filter Panel'  preference setting to 'False', it does not hide filter panel in Web Player in these Spotfire versions.

This issue has been fixed in Mainstream Spotfire release i.e. 10.5 and also fixed in LTS release 10.3.1 - HF-005
To fix this issue you need to perform below steps:

- Users who is using Spotfire version 10.4, they need to upgrade to current Mainstream version which is 10.5.

Note: As this issue has been already fixed in latest Mainstream Spotfire release 10.5, so there will be no hotfix for Spotfire 10.4 version.

- Users who is using Spotfire version 10.3.1  (HF-004 and below), they need to apply hotfix HF-005 or above.

After disabling the show filter panel preference setting, filter panel is still visible in the Spotfire Web Player
