Description
Upgrading the TIBCO Spotfire Server may fail with the following error message in Spotfire upgrade tool box:
Upgrade failed
Upgrading database.

Resolution
To resolve the issue, ensure that the user account running upgrade tool has access to <Spotfire server installation directory>\tomcat\webapps\spotfire\WEB-INF\bootstrap.xml file and also make sure to run the Upgrade tool as Administrator.
