Description: How to change the Max Deployment Revision value from -1 to some other value for the whole domain as well as for the single specific application. The Max Deployment Revision shows the Maximum number of revisions to keep in the revision history for a particular application.
Resolution
Changing of Max Deployment Revision value can be done two ways as given below: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1). For a particular single application, please refer to TIBCO Administrator document-> User's Guide -> Chapter 7 Creating and Deploying Applications -> Purging Application Revisions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2). To change the default Max Deployment Revision value for an Administration domain, follow these steps:
--> Run a domain utility. Select the Server Setting menu and choose the Miscellaneous option. Click on next. Select the Domain for which you want to change the Max Deployment Revision value. Provide the credential of the Domain. Put the desired MAX DEPLOYMENT REVISION value in the provided text box and click next and reconfirm the provided value. Detailed steps can be found in TIBCO Runtime Agent document -> Domain Utility User's Guide -> Chapter 3 Server Settings and Migration -> Changing the Max Deployment Revision Value. *** Please note this change only affects new deployments. Existing application's Max Deployment Revision value wont' be changed by this. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
