Flogo Connector for Oracle MySQL could not connect to AWS MySQL DB instance if the DB instance used the default Virtual Private Cloud.
When clicking the connect button, the error "Communications error. Please check that the hostname and port are correct." will show at the bottom of the page.

Resolution
The connector could not work if the DB instance is using default Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Subnet group and VPC security groups. It is necessary to create a new VPC to allow public accessibility for the DB instance.
