When Tibco AD handled users trying to reset the password using a temporary password provided by the support team and facing the error incorrect user name or password this can be resolved using this article.

Incorrect user name or password error while resetting the password.

Resolution
The user enters an old password as a new password or the password requirement is not met. When you are resetting your password, make sure not to use any saved passwords or passwords that have been used previously.
**When setting up a new password, it is recommended that you use a combination of upper- and lowercase letters, as well as digits.
If this does not help, please inquire about the password complexity set for the specific instance by contacting your administrator or support engineer
