Reason -
The user might not have permission to access the SDMS folder typically located at "
C:\Program Files (x86)\Statistica\SDMS" Pre-requisite -
The user following the article will need to have admin privileges on the SDMS server to make the changes.
Environment
Windows only.
Resolution
Follow the below steps to resync the security groups of the SDMS folder -
1. Go to the SDMS folder on the SDMS server typically at " C:\Program Files (x86)\Statistica\SDMS"
2. Right-click on the SDMS folder and open properties.
3. Go to the Security tab and check the required users/groups exist under 'Groups or user names'.
4. Kindly note that the Users and SWS_SDMS_USERS must be present in that folder. If not, add them.
5. If 'Users' and 'SWS_SDMS_USERS' already exist in the security groups, remove and add them back (re-sync).
6. Restart the IIS by using 'IISRESET' command in the Command Prompt.
