Description
The TIBCO EBX 5.9.17 and 5.9.18 service packs are shipped with a blocking bug
CP-23488 : Potential data loss if a field is specified as 'hiddenInViews'.
If the data model enables the 'Hidden in all views' property for a field, then, when a record is written to the database, the value of the field is erased. If it concerns a primary key field, it will not be possible to reload the record.
Resolution
As this bug can lead to persistent data loss, if you have deployed EBX 5.9.17 and 5.9.18, you must immediately upgrade to EBX 5.9.19 (released on May 18th, 2022) .
