Is there an efficient way of selecting multiple variables at once in Statistica without selecting the Variable names/ Variable numbers one by one ?
Issue/Introduction
How can you select multiple variables that start with the same prefix or suffix at the same time in TIBCO Statistica?
Resolution
Statistica allows users to define variable numbers or variable names for all analysis. If you wanted to select all variables that start with a prefix of “MEASURE” for example, you could type the prefix with a wildcard(*) following the prefix shared by the variables and Statistica will automatically select the corresponding variables of the dataset. The common prefix is not case sensitive as displayed in the below screenshot.
