Description
Resolution:
Customers using BusinessConnect (BC) have reported JDBC errors or database performance issues. These issues usually arise because of the BC database tablespaces becoming large. Also, large amounts of audit data can cause a database to generate extents which can also slow BC performance. For these reasons, it is important that BusinessConnect users regularly archive their BC database tables.
The BusinessConnect 6.X.X and 7.X.X documentation provides an appendix that describes the structure of the BC database tables, as well as sample queries to help your database administrator develop an archiving plan for archiving and purging records from these tables. Check the TIBCO BusinessConnect Interior Server™ Administration Guide Appendix A "Database Schema Definition" for details. You will need to work with your Database Administrator to implement some of the archiving/purging queries to reduce or optimize your database performance.
