Unable to authorize TIBCO Cloud Spotfire in Internet Explorer

Description

To complete the login process for TIBCO Cloud Spotfire users, there is a new one-time authorization screen for the TIBCO Cloud Spotfire Analyst client. The user must click on 'Authorize' to continue login process:

This authorization fails if the Internet Explorer browser is used as the default web browser, since the 'Authorize' button cannot be clicked.

Issue/Introduction

TIBCO Cloud Spotfire users are unable to click on the 'Authorize' option to complete login process.

Resolution

To resolve, change the default browser to one other than Internet Explorer, such as Microsoft Edge or some other browser, to complete this process.

To change the default browser, search for 'Default Apps' in Windows then scroll down to 'Web browser'.  Click on the current selection, then select the new option from the presented list. See  Change default programs in Windows 10 for more details.
