Description
In tethered mode all the configuration information is available on the Cloud Area and all ML clusters syncing the same area have the same config data.

This article will provide inputs to upgrade to latest Mashery Local cluster in Tethered mode

Resolution
Here is a sequence of steps that can be tried:
- run a separate ML cluster, with the latest version.
- test and run sanity checks
- and then open it up for actual traffic
- then decommission the ML cluster running the older version.
> This way the older ML cluster is still available, to fallback on, in case of issues.
> The steps would be the same when upgrading from ML4.x to ML5.x; as ML4.x is inherently tethered.
> The new cluster could use the same momKey/Secret, if eventually the old cluster will be decommissioned.
