Description

This article describes how to resolve when Statistica Trial installer shows code instead of installation step(s).

Examples of code : 

  • Control.Text._SerialNumberAndProductKey 
  • RadioButton.Text.DB_INTEGRATED_AUTH#1
  • Control.Text._DatabaseType#Description
  • RadioButton.Text.B_NEW_DATABASE#1

Refer to the below screenshots for a preview of the issue - 

1 . When installer asks for serial number and product key :

Resolution

  1. Download the Trial version from TIBCO Statistica™ Trial Download for Windows | TIBCO Software
  2. After downloading,  unzip (extract) the downloaded file.
  • To unzip all the contents of the zipped folder using windows default, press right-click on the folder, select Extract All.
  • Or use other extraction tools to unzip.

        3. Execute the Statistica.msi (Windows Installer Package) to install the TIBCO Statistica Trial Version.
