Please note that this article is applicable to supported versions of TIBCO BusinessEvents 5.x and 6.x that list Oracle Solaris 64-bit on SPARC as a supported platform.
Due to limited usage of TIBCO BusinessEvents on Solaris SPARC hardware and Oracle’s future plans for Solaris on SPARC hardware our ability to support TIBCO BusinessEvents 5.x and 6.x on Oracle Solaris SPARC platform will be limited.
Our customers running TIBCO BusinessEvents 5.x and 6.x on Oracle Solaris SPARC are advised to migrate to another supported platform. Any issues logged against TIBCO BusinessEvents 5.x and 6.x with Oracle Solaris SPARC after March 18, 2021 will encounter the following limitations:

    •    Staging of issues by TIBCO will be on most commonly used operating systems like Windows and Linux supported by TIBCO BusinessEvents 5.x and 6.x.

    •    Our ability to address any Solaris SPARC platform dependent issues will be limited.

The end of support dates published in TIBCO’s version support policy (https://www.tibco.com/resources/datasheet/tibco-support-guide) are not affected by the above limitations and remain unchanged.
