In the scenario, we need to connect to the SAP server that hosts in an intranet environment from TCI. We can use 'VPN Connections' or Proxy agent. This article describes how to connect to the on-premise SAP server via a VPN connection.

TCI

step1: go to Cloud Integration Application homepage (https://integration.cloud.tibco.com/applications), select 'VPN Connections' from the top menu. Add a valid VPN connection. 

step2: select the Apps tab from the top menu, and choose your Businessworks project that connects to the intranet SAP server. 

step3: go to the 'Environment Controls' tab, and select 'VPN Connections.'

step4: select the VPN name from the VPN Connection dropdown,  then click 'Update App.'  

Now go back and check the application log, the application should be able to connect to the intranet SAP server via VPN.
