Resolution
PREREQUISITES:
1. Spotfire Server Administrator Credentials
2. TIBCO Data Science for TIBCO Spotfire Analyst downloaded from: https://edelivery.tibco.com/storefront/view-component-download.ep?partNumber=01011689
3. TIBCO® Data Science Service for TIBCO Spotfire® downloaded and deployed as described in : https://support.tibco.com/s/article/How-to-deploy-the-TIBCO-Data-Science-Service-Statistica-Service-for-TIBCO-Spotfire
RESOLUTION:
1. Login to the Spotfire Server Administration Console with administrator credentials.
2. If the deployment area that Web Player uses is not known, select Nodes and Services and navigate to Web Player and make a note of the Deployment area.
3. In the Spotfire Administrator Console, select Deployments & Packages and then select the Deployment area that is used by Web Player.
4. Click on Add packages and point to the location of unzipped : TIB_stat-ext_13.6.0_win.zip (Downloaded from PREREQUISITES 2) . Add the StatisticaEngine.spk and Click Upload. Repeat the same Add package operation for StatisticaExtension.spk
NOTE : If Statistica service is not downloaded and deployed as per PREREQUISITES 3, that can be done similar the above step
5. Ensure all 4 packages listed in the below screenshot are added - Click on Validate Area ensure Validation is OK.
6. Click on Save Area to save the deployment area
7. Navigate to "Nodes and Services" in Spotfire Server Administrator Tool and verify that Statistica Integration is displayed. If it is not displayed, restart the Web Player instance
Statistica data functions should now be called seamlessly via TIBCO Spotfire Web Player:
